This is my 1995 K75. I bought it in 2003 with 14,000 miles and have put 10,000 since. I had the seat recovered and painted the seat pad to give it a unique look. I added a K&N air filter and a Staintune exhaust about 6 months ago. This is a fine one-up bike and I have done a 1,000 trip at speed and in comfort. Considering the touted reliability of the K bikes I doubt I'll sell this for a long time.

That´s my Cafe Racer- 1100ccm, 215kg, 110hp - that rocks

This is my K1100RS '94, with 52,000mls right now. After many years of riding many different bikes I have to admit -with pleasure- this is the best one so far. I know, she's not very clean and shiny in this picture and lacking of the useful saddlebags, but I'm proud of her anyway :)

This is a picture of `Tiger Lily´, it is always fun to take a ride with her. Built in 1983 as No. 66 (VIN0000066K100). After a few month as a showroom bike at the BMW dealer, it has been with the first owner for 21 years. The mileage is 78,000. Fifteen years ago, the bike was modified with a Wulffs fairing, White Power suspension an Bauermeister footrests. It is running great and cornering is much better comparing with my old K100RS.

This 1992 K1100LT is my third K-bike. After having owned two K100-RS-16V, I bought the LT in June of this year. Reason for change: a much more comfortable ride for my wife Jos! Now over 46,000mls, standard equipped, I added a Garmin Streetpilot III.

Here is a photo of my K100RT (1989) and my good wife in the Scottish Highlands during a 5 day tour. On previous (Non BMW) bikes 2 days was the longest she would endure – a true tribute to the usability of a great bike.

I bought this bike in April of 2003. It had 30K miles on it and was absolutely spotless! The owner told me that it had never been ridden in the rain.  I was kind enough not to tell him what I thought but in my mind I said "you better take a good look at it now, cuz it's never going to look this good again!"  I have taken it on a 5 week trip out to Texas last year (5400 miles total) and went to the Grand Canyon this year (6500 miles total). The bike has performed flawlessly over the last 16 months while putting on a total of 18,000 miles.  And she rides great in the rain!

K 100/84 under heavy construction since six years, the inspector said only the throttle is a genuine part, but I´m going to change that, too...

In January, 2004, I bought this K75S with aprox. 21,000mls on the clock. Since then, I rode another 4,500mls. That means, the long distance test is done. The advantage of the triple is the easy way to handle. I rode a K100RS which was two years elder, but felt clumsy and had heavy vibrations at the left footrest. I was impressed that the K75 doesn´t vibrate at all. I guess I´ll be happy with this bike for a long time.

I bought my 1987 K100LT in 2000 in Germany with about 60 000 km on clock. Now it has more than 120 000 km and I am lucky, without any problem. It is perfect and practical touring bike, for example I spent three holidays with my wife on British Isles, Ireland and Isle of Man. I did only regular maintenance work, except there was one destroyed rear tyre by part of sea shell in Scotland, unfortunately.

I bought my 1988 K75C in police white (on the first anniversary of 9/11) with just over 6,000 miles on it!  I'm the lucky second owner. I added only hand protectors, hardbags and police pinstripes (because I wish I could ride it while working, but then again, I try to separate business from pleasure). It rides very well and really stands out in the crowd of shiny, chromed out motorcycles I usually see on the street.

I bought the bike (1985) approx. 4 years ago and "rebuilded" it to what it is now. I never had any technical problem, there is nothing like a K100 bike!

My ’87 K 75 RS is equipped with a R100RS fairing by WUEDO and Akront spoke wheels. Meanwhile, the colour is Avus Blue. The bike made 55,000 mls without problems. I purchased it when it was four years old and had 12,000mls on the clock. I would made the decision again, although the new K1200S appeals to me.

Recently I build a home-build machine based on a K100LT of 1988. The framework was build from CrMo pipe and sized like the JJ Cobas frame work. The tank and seat is home built from thinwalled steelplate. The screen originates from a Kawasaki, the frontfork and wheels originaties from a Suzuki GSX1100F. The rear wheel is equipped with a new hard fitting to the BMW cardan and giving space for a tire size "180". The suspension is home made, using the spring of a GSX1100F and the suspension is adjustable through a linking system. The seat I still have to make. Proper paperwork and logo's I still have to design and apply.

K100RS "Style" built 1987. Bought in May, 2003, with about 90,000mls. The fairing has been dismounted soon. Thereafter, I made further modifications: steel braking hoses at front and rear, Termignoni exhaust, Giuliari seat, engine spoiler, mini flashers, twin mini rear light, BMW sport foot rests and semi-floating brake disks (Spiegler, really good). After that, I love this bike and will keep it for many years. The bike fits my needs and I praise its engineers; the suspension and technology are still “state of the art”after more than 20 years..

I bought this `89 K1 with 19,500mls in a mint condition. Additional to my GS, I was after a flying brick for ages. The K1 runs great and riding it is amazing. I made trips with more than 370mls a day without problems. The K1 and the GS are a superb combination to have fun on two wheels.

I've just visited your website (english version) and found it wonderful. Just one thing is missing : the picture of my K100LT.
Ordered in april 1990, I'm the first owner. 60,000mls with no major issues. New painting in 94 (metallic white with Motorsport design colors). I've added an Ohlins rear shock absorber, a spoiler and it's still the perfect bike to me. 14 years together, it looks like a new one, I think I'll never sell it. Sorry ! ;-)

I just finished the restore of a K100RS Style 87. The bike is registred for the first time in Italy at April 1988, but the engine make is 19/87 (engine No 104EA 1987 2174), the frame No. is 144914, mileage was about 42,000. I purchased it last september, it was in very bad condition, so it has been all disassembled, renewed in all the mechanichal parts, engine, clutch and trasmission, all repainted with original color and all the original stickers. Now it's running very well and smooth as when it was new. I remember that because I owned a K100RS, first model, form 1984 to 1988.

Finally, this is my blue-white coloured baby for the gallery. Built in 1999, it has done 20,300mls and is modified with some Verholen parts, a Bugster seat and a touring windscreen. I had no problems, so I am absolutely satisfied. K-reetings, Qualle

In 1994, we decided to get a bike again after two years on a scooter. We planned to travel with the bike during the following years, so we bought an used K1100 LT with 2200mls. Even 600mls a day are a piece of cake. Although it isn´t really funny to manoeuvre a half-ton-bike during a four-week-trip to cape north,  there aren´t much bikes around to travel such destinations with a passenger. We made wonderful trips across Europe and would like to share our impressions with other bikers. Our destination is the road to get there, the miles are no must but fun.

On March 12th, 2004, after three years without trouble on a K75 RT I felt in love with this mystic red `97 K1100 LT Special Edition, 30,000mls. By now, I am amazed about the handling, driving fun, stability and comfort. Even my wife likes to join us. This is my favourite bike within more than 20 years of riding.

Since June, 2003 I am the proud owner of a palmetto-green coloured K 1100RS. The K was built in 1995 and has made 18,500mls. After testing many other bikes, I stucked to this one. The suspension and the comfortable seat position are amazing. This K is one of the best bikes I rode within 21 years of motorcycle experience.

My 1995 model K1100RS owned for 2 years and has done 34000 miles, the most comfortable bike I´ve ever owned, the first day of ownership i covered 250 miles with no aches at all. Do all of the servicing and repairs myself with no major problems. The perfect motorcycle.

My Boston based 1989 K100RS at the Artic Circle on the Dempster Highway in the Canadian Yukon, Canada, July 1, 2001. I have also taken the bike to Goose Bay Labrador and throughout the western USA. The bike has 95,000 miles on it and it still runs like a freight train. The K100RS is like the "Energizer Bunny", takes a licking but keeps on ticking.

I bought my K75 RT brand-new in May, 1994, and rode it more than 64,000mls by now without mentionable problems. After renewing the clutch some time ago, I went to the mechanic who did the repair in order to catch my bike. He asked “Do you mean the one which looks like  new?”. He was absolutely right.

My ´86 K100RS has a new look, the damaged fairing has been replaced and the painting has been renewed. The tires have been changed from Metzeler to Bridgestone and the battery has been replaced. The original fork springs are replaced by progressive ones. The next project is a K75C handlebar, an idea from a guy in Greece who is presenting this modification at his homepage.

Last sunday I get my K1 which was my dreambike in 1989 when I was 18. First registration 1990 in Belgium, imported to France with 26,000 mls by the second owner who moved from Belgium to France. Since 18th of January, 2004, it is inside Olli´s garage. 41,700mls, all genuine. At the moment, three elements of the digital clock are missing, the manual, some tools, the original key...well, I´ll work on it to refurbish its factory condition.
