Hallo Zusammen,

Werde da wohl nicht viel zur Aufklaerung Beitragen koennen!

Also, bei uns in Japan ist Linksverkehr.
Hatte mir heute mal aufgrund Euer Disskussion der letzten Tage meine Reifen angeschaut...
Ich kann da nix erkennen!
Allerdings muss ich fuer mich auch andere Parameter fuer meine Fahrweise ansetzen als die Meisten bei Euch!
Ich fahre fast ausschliesslich Stadtverkehr hier im Grossraum Tokyo, schon mal Stadtautobahn (Tempolimit 60-80, real vielleicht 80-120 gefahren)
sehr wenig Autobahn (Tempolimit 80-100, real 80-140 gefahren), schon mal Landstrasse (keine Deutschen Verhaeltnisse, es bewegt sich einfach alles viel langsamer, Strassen sind auch deutlich voller!).

Bluemchenpfluecker waehre also fast schon uebertrieben!

Habe bisher mit meinen BT45 in 110/140 (ohne B, die gibt es hier nicht mit B, obwohl made in Japan!!!) in ungefaehr 2,5 Jahren
6500-7000km gefahren. Schaetze die halten noch mal 4-5000Km!

Fuer meine (tauben) Augen sind meine Reifen gleichmaessig in der Mitte abgefahren! "Angstnippel" sind noch dran!
Hab es nicht gemessen, aber denke da ist weder vorne noch hinten viel Abweichung von der Mitte!
Bin da sicher mit meiner Fahrweise nicht repraesentativ, wie oben schon erwaehnt!

Koennte ja noch mal in 4-5000km posten, sorry, denke aber das wird wohl nochmal 1,5-2 Jahre dauern bis die Reifen runter sind! :rolling:






Kontaktet doch mal den BerndTKS, der hat in seiner Zeit hier in Japan seine K1 sicher deutlich mehr gescheucht als ich meine 2V!

So, we ride/drive in Japan left.
because of your discussion last days, which led me today let check my tyres ...
I can see nothing there!
However I must apply other parameters for me for mydriving style than most of you.
I'm almost exclusively ride in urban traffic here in the greater Tokyo area, rarly city motorway (speed limit 60-80, realmight hit 80-120)
very little motorway (speed limit 80-100, real went 80-140), sometimes Highway (there no German conditions, simply, it moves everything much more slowly here, roads are also clearly full!).

So, flower pickers would be nearly been exaggerated! : lollol:

6500-7000km driven. Guess you still hold 4-5000 km!

For my eyes, my tyres went off evenly in the middle! "Fear nipples" are still there!
It was not measured, but think there's neither front nor rear much deviation from the center!
Am sure my driving style is not representative, as mentioned above.

Could even in further 4-5000km post, sorry, think but this will take probably another 1.5 to 2 years until the tyres are gone with the wind....!: rolling:

Ich nutze die K ja eigendlich nur um von A nach B zu kommen.
Meistens Arbeit/Beruf!
Hat sich Bestens bewaehrt! :D

Alternative waehre Metro fahren (wahrlich kein Vergnuegen, speziell zur rush hour).
Mache ich nur wenn es nicht anders geht, oder ich abends mit Freunden einen Trinken gehe!
Auto benutze ich wenn ich etwas transportieren muss,
Verkehr morgens u abends (!?) ... Parken ist auch ein Problem, meist ein sehr teures!

Eigendlich braeuchte man hier in der Stadt weder Auto noch Motorrad!
Ein Fahrrad, Scooter zum Einkaufen, ansonsten ist alles mit Metro, Bahn oder Bus erreichbar!

Motorrad macht aber einfach deutlich mehr Spass! :D
Und schneller ist es haeufig auch ...

Klar, ist Spassfahren auf leeren Landstrassen, Berge, lange Touren ... etwas gaaanz anderes :thumbup:

6500-7000Km morgens und abends zu den Stosszeiten mit der Metro hier, sind auch etwas anderes, etwas ganz anderes!!! :rolling:

I actually just use the K to get from A to B.
Most of the time work/profession!
Has proven itselves! : D

An alternative would be to ride metro (surely no pleasure,especially at rush hours).
I do when there is no other way, or I meet in the evening with friends for a drink or 2!
I use when I need to transport something my car.
Traffic in the morning or at night (not a fun!) uhm... Parking is also a major problem, usually a very expensive one!

Actually it would need neither car nor motorcycle here in the city!
A bike, scooter for shopping, otherwise most is reachable by Metro, train or bus!

Motorcycle is just so much more fun! : D
And it is often even faster...

Though, riding just for fun, on empty roads, mountains, long touring is muuuch different...: thumbup:

6500-7000km in the mornings and evenings at the peak times riding the Metro here is a different story,
something truely completely different ,! : rolling:

You are absolutely right with your request to red englisch! This is my contribuschion : I dont see why lefthanddrivers should have other tire-demolition than righthanddrivers. Even righthanddrivers have curvs : about 50% leftrum, about 50% righttsrum. Just the same phenomena as bei the lefthanddrivers...

Hi Team, sorry, had some time out and then an issue finding the English part again

But, used BT45's whilst in Scotland for a few years and never noticed anything that indicated one-sided extra wear on the tyres. Thinking about it, I think it has to do a lot with your driving style and the typre of riding. With this I mean that if you do a lot of highway miles you possibly could experience it. I never noticed anything like that, but I used my bike predominantly for fun touring the curvy country roads in Scotland. This regular changing directions (differently (more thorough overall??) warming the tyre carcasses then on straight roads??).

Oh, and I'm jealous, never got that many miles out of the BT45's, but they were good for the type of riding I did. :thumbup:
