Hi everyone,
I have a new and exciting problem with my 1984 K100 RT: I came home from the pub on Thursday to find that the ignition had turned itself on. The key was not in and the switch was off. For some reason (probably beer related) I pushed the buton and it started and ran normally but even when I put the key in and wobbled it around i could not stop it, even the kill switch didn't work; I had to disconnect the battery. So far I have removed and tested the ign switch and found that the ignition remains on even with it removed and traced the wires back to the harness.
In 35 years, I've had many vehicles that won't start but never one that won't stop. Can anyone help... Please?
Sam
