Hi every one,
I have a K100RS but do a lot of long distance riding.
Is it poss. to put in a RT model spec comp. to improve fuel comsumption.
Don,t need the power.

Ok, help this Yank out. What is a "spec comp"? The only mechanical difference between a K-100RS and RT I'm aware of is the final drive ratio. The RS has taller gearing and should turn fewer revs and be more economical at any given road speed than the RT. The RT has lower gearing (higher numerical ratio) to aid passing when loaded. In actual use each achieves about the same fuel consumption.

I'm guessing that it's abreviated for "specified computer", or the engine control system.
